Welcome to the team, Ameera!
We are happy to share that Ameera Naeem Butt has joined the CABR TUS research team to pursue PhD studies as part of the REVEIRE wool project, where her research focuses on sustainable bioprocessing and innovative biorefinery approaches for wool valorisation.
Ameera’s PhD research is supervised by Dr Yin Zhu and Dr Catherine Collins at CABR, TUS, Dr Archishman Bose at University College Cork (REVEIRE Project Co-ordinator), and Dr Tim Yeomans at CABR (REVEIRE Work Package Leader).
Ameera completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees from the University of Central Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. Her academic specialisation is in genomics and molecular biotechnology, with a strong focus on plant molecular genetics and bioinformatics.
