Welcome to the new role, Katie!
We are pleased to announce that Dr Katie Shiels has started a new position within the CircAB – Circular Agriculture and Biotechnology Group at CABR as a postdoctoral researcher, contributing to the Lisheen Bioeconomy Scaleup Initiative (BioScaleUp), a nationally significant project supported by the EU Just Transition Fund.
Dr Shiels completed her PhD studies at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS:MM), where she researched bioactive compounds from cyanobacteria and microalgae for human health applications, ‘An Irish Marine Pharmacy’.
