Welcome to the team, Reihaneh!

We are delighted to announce that Dr Reihaneh Kordsedehi has joined CABR as a Postdoctoral Scientist, where she works on the TRANSFORM project (Transforming Food Waste into Functional Ingredients).
Dr Kordsedehi is a microbial biotechnologist with over ten years of research experience in microbial biotechnology, metabolic engineering, molecular biology, fermentation, analytical techniques, and sustainable bioprocess development, with a particular interest in converting waste and renewable resources into valuable products.
Dr Reihaneh Kordsedehi holds a PhD in Microbial Biotechnology from the University of Isfahan, Iran, where her research focused on engineering Pseudomonas putida to produce value-added compounds, including hydroxy ketones, through microbial biotransformation.
