Welcome to the team, Wisdom!

We are delighted to confirm that Wisdom Shadrach has joined the Centre’s research team as a Research Scientist in the field of cellular and molecular biology.

Wisdom Shadrach is a researcher focused on in-vitro cell culture modelling and will be working with SABC on a range of different industry-relevant projects. He holds a Pharmacy Bachelor’s degree from the University of Benin (2017) in Nigeria and is currently completing his PhD in cellular and molecular biology at MTU Kerry. Wisdom was also a recent participant at the Ingenium summer school 2024 in Rouen, France, an EU event focused on finding solutions to global biodiversity and sustainability needs.

Wisdom’s past work experience involves conducting a range of pre-clinical safety and efficacy studies, microbiological work, and clinical trials.

Shadrach’s research interests and experience align with UN SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being).
