Welcome to the team, Martin!

We are delighted to confirm that Dr. Martin Hayes has joined the Centre’s research team as a Senior Business Development Scientist.

Dr. Martin Hayes possesses a BSc. in Bioanalysis and Biotechnology from TUS, an MSc. in Mutualistic Plant and Microbe Interactions and a PhD. in Functional and Life-Enhancing Properties of Mushrooms and Fungi. Martin has worked for the Department of Applied Science at TUS as a Lecturer in Molecular Microbiology.

Martin’s research interests and experience are aligned with UN SDGs 2, 3 and 6 (Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-Being and Clean Water and Sanitation respectively).
