FT-IR Spectroscopy System

What is the FT-IR Spectroscopy System?

This system uses Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy to rapidly identify and characterise a wide range of materials. Solids, liquids and powders can be measured directly on the diamond ATR crystal with little to no sample preparation and measurements are non-destructive. The system also has NIR and FT-Raman capability for complementary analysis.

The system provides highly specific chemical information by fingerprinting functional groups, supporting material identification and compositional screening with applications in food, biostimulants and nutraceuticals.

How can this equipment benefit your business?

  • Identify materials by spectral library matching and screen or classify complex mixtures

  • Support quality control across food, marine, agri-food and biotech sectors

  • Support product development and regulatory compliance

  • Verify consistency of biomass feedstocks for use in biorefinery applications

  • And more
