Opportunity for researchers – Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme Now Open  

The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship is now accepting applications. It is aimed at individuals seeking to pursue a Master’s, PhD, or Postdoc. Here at the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research, we look forward to working with individuals interested in working in the fields of: (?)

What’s included in MSc and PhD Scholarship Programmes?

  • A stipend of €22,000
  • A contribution to fees, including non-European Union fees, paid to the host institution, up to a maximum of €5,750
  • Eligible direct research expenses of €3,250 to enable the awardee to carry out the research project

What’s included in the Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme? 

  • A salary of €46,305 in the first year of the award and €47,879 in the second year of the award
  • Eligible direct research expenses of €5,000 per annum.

What is the key information? 

  • There is no age limit for applicants to be eligible for either programme type
  • Applications need to be made in either the Irish or English language.

  • Applicant deadline – 16:00 (Irish time) 10 October 2024
  • Supervisor/Mentor deadline – 16:00 (Irish time) 17 October 2024
