New the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research PI – Dr Bernard Boateng
the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research are delighted to welcome Dr Bernard Boateng as a Principal Investigator with the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research. Bernard has a background in Pharmacy and completed his PhD in the University of Galway on bioprocess monitoring using fluorescence spectroscopy. Bernard is lecturer in the Department of Biological and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the International Medical Commencement Programme (IMCP) at MTU. Bernard’s current research is based on application of biophotonics-based process analytical tools for continuous monitoring of therapeutic proteins and functional food ingredients, as well use of green chemistry alternatives for extraction of bioactive compounds.
