Ion Chromatography Equipment Training at the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research in TUS Hartnett Centre

This week at Shannon Applied Biotechnology Centre in Hartnett Centre (Technological University of Shannon, Moylish campus), our researchers participated in Ion Chromatography equipment training on a Shimadzu instrument (funded by Enterprise Ireland)

Thank you Mason Technology for a great session and specifically Sebastian Jurek

🔬 Ion Chromatography equipment, available at the Centre for Applied Bioscience Research for industry collaborations, serves several purposes such as:

→ Testing organic and inorganic anions in environmental and food samples

→ Analysing various types of biomasses used in the production of building blocks and nutraceuticals

→ Examining soils, composts, organic fuels, process effluents

→ Testing beverages: alcoholic, soft

→ Analysing growth media and spent media in biopharmaceutical production
