CABR Will Be Taking Part in Kerry Science Festival 2025

Kerry Science Festival 2025, which takes place on Saturday, 15th November 2025, is an annual celebration of STEM, featuring workshops, talks, and interactive activities for all ages.

Join us for a vibrant celebration of science, technology, engineering, and maths at this year’s Kerry Science Festival. Enjoy a full day of hands-on workshops, exciting demonstrations, and interactive exhibits designed to spark curiosity and creativity in learners of all ages.

CABR will be involved during the festival, organising the following activities:

Body Systems Explorer

  • An interactive activity designed to help participants explore how the human body functions. Using educational cards, a human organ anatomy model, and digital software, participants will match images, names, and functions of cells and organs to uncover how each part works together to maintain health.

  • Date: 15 November 2025

Test Your Shield – Interactive Skin Testing

  • This interactive demonstration explores how your skin acts as the body’s first line of defence against invaders such as viruses and bacteria. Participants can test the strength of their own “skin shield” through a series of fun and educational skin science experiments. Suitable for all ages.
  • Time: 10am – 4pm, no booking required
  • Date: 15 November 2025

Cell Explorers – Fantastic DNA in a Box!

  • This workshop provides children and young people with the opportunity to engage in hands-on modern biology. Children will gain a basic understanding of the role and structure of cells and DNA, the building blocks of life, and practise the DNA extraction experiment individually.
  • Time: 11am – 12pm or 12pm – 1pm, booking required
