CABR PhD Researcher Presented at the Irish Plant Scientists’ Association (IPSAM) Conference)

Mr Lord Gyimah, a PhD researcher on the BIOS4Grass project at CABR, MTU, Kerry Campus, had the opportunity to present part of his PhD research at the Irish Plant Scientists’ Association (IPSAM) Conference on 16 June 2026, held at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin. 

Lord’s presentation highlighted the potential of biostimulants, specifically seaweed extract, as a mitigation strategy for reducing N₂O emissions from temperate grasslands. 

Lord Gyimah’s PhD research is funded by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and is supported by industry partner Brandon Bioscience.  

Lord Gyimah’s PhD research is supervised by Dr Patrick Quille, Dr Bernard Boateng and Dr Eilish Broderick.
