CABR PhD Researcher Presented at the 38th British Mastitis Conference (BMC)
Ms Joanne Hanifin, a PhD researcher on the MAPBIO-MILK project at CABR, MTU Kerry Campus, presented part of her PhD research at the 38th British Mastitis Conference (BMC), which took place in Worcester, United Kingdom, on 16 and 17 June 2026.
Joanne’s presentation included biosensor-based detection and how emerging biosensor technology, such as FLODX, can support earlier and more accurate detection in mastitis research and dairy herd health management.
Joanne, alongside her presentation on stage, had the pleasure to also share her work through a poster presentation.
Joanne Hanifin’s PhD research is supervised by Dr Joanna Tierney, Dr Bridget Breen, Dr Ashley Sullivan, and Dr Venkata Vamsi Bharadwaj Yallapragada.
