FTIR NIR Raman Spectroscopy System

What is the FTIR/NIR/Raman Spectroscopy System?

This integrated spectrometry system combines three complementary techniques: Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR), Near Infrared (NIR), and Raman Spectroscope, to rapidly identify and characterise a wide range of materials. It is non-destructive and suitable for analysing samples in solid, liquid, or mull states.

The system provides highly specific chemical information through fingerprinting of functional groups, enabling the identification of active ingredients (micro-products) with applications in food, biostimulants and nutraceuticals.

The FTIR/NIR/Raman system is a key component of CABR’s Upstream Bioprocessing and Analysis Suite (UBAS). The suite enables the conversion of biomass into high-value products for the food, feed, nutraceutical, cosmetic, and biomaterial sectors.
